Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound/Echo Tech proficient in both ultrasound and echocardiography, with required certification and North Dakota licensure.

• Work in a radiology department with a 25-bed hospital setting
• Performs a broad range of ultrasound procedures including OB, pelvic, abdominal, breast, carotid, extremity vascular, segmental pressure, ABI imaging, biopsies, para and thoracentesis
• New procedures include radio frequency ablation for venous insufficiency
• Echocardiography skills preferred but not mandatory
• Uses Ectra PACS, Epic EMR, Philips Epiq 7G, GE Ligiq E9, and Cor Vascular Falcon Pro equipment
• Variable day shifts, with weekend call-in check every other weekend in rotation with current ultrasound tech
• Possible floating to X-ray and CT if appropriately skilled
• Department provides hospital and orientation training
• Weekend call-in requires techs to check for overnight or weekend cases and respond as needed
• Scrubs are required
• Duties include assisting with biopsies and participating in new venous insufficiency procedures
• Team rotation for weekend coverage

• Minimum 2 years of recent ultrasound/echo experience
• ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification required
• BLS required
• Must hold or obtain North Dakota state licensure prior to employment
• Must be proficient in both ultrasound and echocardiography
• License required if applicable
