Talent Manager
Human Resources Associate – State Hospital, Jamestown, ND
Help the largest state agency maximize its service to vulnerable North Dakotans.
Responsibilities- Serve as the “boots on the ground” for State Hospital staff, addressing a variety of HR questions and situations according to established guidelines and senior staff guidance.
- Facilitate comprehensive onboarding for new team members, including orientation, benefits explanation and enrollment.
- Maintain smooth processes for recruiting, interviewing, performance management, FMLA, and offboarding.
- Collaborate closely with the HR Business Partner to sustain productivity, support a healthy workplace, and ensure employee satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating knowledge, skills, and abilities in HR.
- PHR or SHRM‑CP certification is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong time‑management skills.
- Effective communication of HR policy and best practices to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team and maintain effective working relationships.
The successful candidate will be required to work onsite at the State Hospital in Jamestown, North Dakota.
