We are seeking a Maintenance Project Coordinator to join a well-known, industry-leading food manufacturer. In this role, you will coordinate maintenance projects, schedule work orders for operational and capital shutdowns, and support a team dedicated to quality, safety, and compliance.
This is your chance to be at the heart of plant operations, ensuring critical maintenance activities are completed on time, safely, and in alignment with food safety and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Do- Coordinate and schedule work orders for operational shutdowns (OCUs) and capital projects, prioritizing repairs and preventative maintenance to maximize plant efficiency.
- Assist maintenance personnel with large-scale activities, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to company policies, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in third-party audits, regulatory inspections, and corrective actions. Ensure all food safety and quality-related work orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate and oversee outside contractors for maintenance projects, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
- Help the plant maintain compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Maintain clear communication with the Reliability Engineer regarding daily issues, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and work orders in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting maintenance or plant operations teams
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, environmental standards, and food safety requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience overseeing contractor work in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
