As an Assembly Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our aircraft cargo system parts. Utilizing handheld metrology tools and performing visual inspections, you will be a key player in maintaining the safety and reliability of our products. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help us deliver top-notch solutions to our clients.

• First Article Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of new products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.
• Product Verification: Approve products or meticulously document any non-conformances using SAP, ensuring every part meets our high-quality benchmarks.
• Nonconformance Investigations: Collaborate on investigations to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Internal Auditing: Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Quality Engineering Support: Work closely with the Quality Engineering team to assist in problem‑solving, statistical analysis, and calibration efforts, enhancing overall product quality.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading
• Basic understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

• HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.
