Eventide Senior Care Center - Culinary Assistant / Server
Jamestown, ND. Seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server to work full time, varying shifts (5:30 a‑m‑2 p m, 9:30 a‑m‑6 p m, 8 a‑m‑4:30 p m). Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Responsibilities- Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
- Follows portion control size standards.
- Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals as well as other assigned cleaning duties.
- Operates equipment in a proper, safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.
- Prepares various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director (Coordinator) and/or Culinary Cook.
- Monitors daily menu items in order to verify that all necessary items are prepared and labeled.
- Stores leftovers appropriately according to food handling standards.
- Organizes and plans work schedule to meet times for serving.
- Operates dish machine according to directions. Pre‑soaks and sorts dishes and utensils.
- Assists in accepting vendor deliveries and storing items in the proper areas.
- Previous experience in food service is preferred, but not required.
