Overview

The primary focus of this position is to provide exceptional guest service by operating a cash register and assisting guests with a “Say Yes to the Guest” attitude. The individual scans, rings, or enters merchandise into the cash register, collects customer payment and delivers appropriate change, bags items, and assists customers with questions or concerns.

• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, collecting cash, checks, electronic payments, and coupons, ensuring correct change and maintaining cash drawer security.
• Scan or ring items accurately and efficiently, entering department numbers, product UPCs, weights, and related data for items that cannot be scanned.
• Assist guests with locating merchandise, answering questions, and bagging items carefully.
