Principal, Education Administration

St. William Catholic School is seeking a full-time principal for the  school year. The PK-8 school of approximately 220 students is WRISA accredited and has an excellent faculty and staff who are passionate about teaching and learning.

The successful candidate should possess dynamic leadership skills, demonstrate excellent communication skills, display knowledge of curriculum and instruction, have experience leading to improve student learning and be a practicing Catholic in good standing. In addition, a successful candidate will prioritize evangelical efforts within the school. By fostering trusting relationships with parents, students, and faculty, the principal will help to deepen their spiritual lives.

Strengthening the Catholic identity of the school, through consultation with the Pastor and Parochial Vicars, will be an integral part of the principal’s duties.

A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other principals in the local community as well as to adjust schedules, events, and resources to meet the needs of the wider parish community.

Candidates should hold, or be working toward, a master’s degree in Educational Administration. A minimum of five years of successful teaching experience is required. Prior, successful administrative experience, preferably in a Catholic school is desirable but not required.
