Job Type: Full-time
Location:
Fitchburg, WI or Janesville, WI (onsite).
Base salary range: $75,000–$150,000 annually plus comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities- Prepare specifications, calculations, drawings, and test plans to support design, new construction, testing, commissioning, in‑field troubleshooting and operation of the medical isotope production facility.
- Work with Procurement to procure equipment.
- Monitor and provide guidance to contract engineers and engineers of record for the normal electric power supply system.
- Provide support to Construction by processing RFI, engineering change requests, work packages, and reviewing document submittals.
- Work with electrical inspectors (AHJs) to assure compliance of SHINE electrical systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 5+ years experience in designing low voltage power engineering duties.
- Working knowledge of the National Electric Code, Life Safety Code, Building Codes, IEEE standards, and IEC standards.
- Experience with conduits, cable trays, cable selection, terminal/connection drawings, panels, and panel design.
- Experience in electrical design meeting NRC regulatory requirements.
- Professional engineering license and ability to obtain Wisconsin PE license.
- Proficiency in electrical design tools such as Auto Cad Electrical or Solid Works Electrical.
- Familiarity with SCADA or PLC systems, preferably Allen‑Bradley.
- Greenfield experience – from design through construction and startup.
