Description

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Project Scheduler II who will be responsible for collecting and analyzing information used to schedule complex, multidisciplinary construction, and major equipment installation projects.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collect, input, and analyze schedule information quickly and reliably
  • Generate forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation used to monitor and manage projects.
  • Research and reports on various external and internal factors that may impact project success.
  • Evaluates current processes and recommends changes to improve efficiency of scheduling of projects.
  • Report schedule variances and concerns to project managers and the Director of Project Controls
  • Attends and/or establishes department planning meetings with stakeholders throughout the company to build relationships and ensure proper schedule inputs
  • Familiarize themselves with engineering, construction, and procurement processes in order to provide helpful inputs, feedback, and review of schedule durations and logic
  • Proactively seek schedule and risk information that may impact the project timeline
Requirements:
  • Degree in scientific, construction or business field preferred
  • 2+ years of prior project or construction scheduling experience. Experience in Primavera P6 required.
  • Experience with non-routine projects highly preferred.
  • Must have the ability to accurately communicate, investigate, solve problems and identify solutions
  • Must have experience with standard planning and scheduling methodologies and tools.
  • Able to effectively review and understand detailed communication
  • Must have self-disciplined, self-motivated and relationship builder
  • Able to effectively coordinate multiple, complex requests/projects
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (e.g., standing or sitting) for extended periods.
  • Ability to move within facility environments, including accessing testing areas and operating instrumentation.
  • Ability to handle standard laboratory equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work may occasionally take place in controlled radiation areas under supervision and within regulatory exposure limits.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including full Tyvek suit while wearing a ventilated hood, lab coats, safety glasses, and dosimeters.
  • Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
  • Although flexible work hours may be available, shift-work schedules may be required, and extended hours will sometimes be necessary to complete required work assignment.
