• Possesses core knowledge of Radiation Therapist functions, including scheduling, simulation, patient set‑up, and treatment.
• Demonstrates functional knowledge of all major components of department equipment.
• Delivers external beam treatments accurately and timely.
• Assesses and addresses patient needs during treatment.
• Practices appropriate Radiation Safety procedures.
• Accurately and timely completes patient charts according to established standards and procedures.
• Shows knowledge of standard and advanced treatment calculations and plans.
• Designs and fabricates blocks accurately and efficiently.
• Performs Simulation with high accuracy and minimal supervision.
• Utilizes appropriate scripting, barriers, and patient identifiers per position.

Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program.

• ARRT registration in radiation therapy required (or eligible upon hire and to be obtained within one year).
• Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days.
