Radiology Job Details- Location: Janesville, Wisconsin (53548) – Southern Wisconsin healthcare jobs
- Assignment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist
- Setting: Hospital Radiology Department
- Duration: 13-week contract (Start: 1/16/2026 – End: 4/17/2026)
- Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts per week (Mid/Second Shift), every 3rd weekend rotation
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1810-$1940
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT Radiography registration required
- IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
- Current CPR or BLS certification (or must obtain within 90 days)
- Perform diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm, and fluoroscopic procedures
- Review patient clinical history, verify orders and labs
- Educate patients and ensure comfort during imaging procedures
- Operate radiology equipment and accessories for accurate imaging
- Provide basic life support as needed
- Apply ALARA principles and radiation safety protocols
- Document and report safety incidents per hospital protocol
- Process and review images for quality, submit for physician interpretation
- Utilize radiology information systems (PACS, EMR) and maintain accurate records
- Assist with medical record/image sharing and EMR documentation
- Provide instruction for radiography students and new technologists
- Transport patients and operate mobile radiologic equipment in various hospital settings
- Assist radiologist in fluoroscopic and special x-ray exams
- Prepare and assist with contrast media administration
- Coordinate patient and staff schedules as needed
- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of EMR, PACS, and imaging equipment
