As a Security Operations Technician with Epic Hosting, you will be part of a SOC team that secures Epic's SaaS infrastructure for some of the largest healthcare organizations in the country. You’ll identify security events, coordinate investigation and response, and suggest long-term process improvements. Staying updated on emerging security threats and implementing new security solutions will also be part of your role.

Responsibilities include:
- Managing security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, VPNs, and data loss prevention
- Analyzing logs, monitoring, and auditing systems and networks
- Possessing relevant security certifications like GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, Security+
- Using scripting languages like Power Shell
- Experience with access management, Active Directory, SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools is advantageous
- Relocation to Madison, WI (reimbursed) and eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Availability for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
- COVID-19 vaccination required
Responsibilities also include maintaining confidentiality, escalating incidents, and adhering to security policies.
