DescriptionSHINE Technologies is seeking a Commissioning Manager who will oversee the planning and execution of facility commissioning activities at a new isotope production facility in Janesville, Wisconsin. This first-of-a-kind NRC-regulated nuclear facility is under construction, with testing activities in progress. The Commissioning Manager will develop strategies, coordinate activities, and ensure the successful completion of testing, validation, and transition to operations.

SalaryThe base salary range for this position is $123,000 - $165,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Salary ranges are role, level, and location-dependent.
Duties and Responsibilities- Promote a safe work environment and safety culture.
- Develop, refine, and manage detailed plans and schedules for commissioning and start-up testing.
- Manage, hire, and train staff.
- Coordinate with construction and operations teams for seamless transition phases.
- Provide daily direction and management of commissioning activities.
- Work with technical teams to resolve issues discovered during testing.
- Ensure validation activities are completed accurately with quality personnel.
- Update stakeholders regularly, lead coordination meetings, and ensure schedule adherence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
- At least 8 years’ experience in facility commissioning, start-up, operations, or related fields.
- Experience in project, commissioning, construction, or outage management is preferred.
- Understanding of nuclear facility principles and operations.
- Experience in regulated environments like nuclear or cGMP facilities is a plus.
- Strong communication, conflict, and change management skills.
- Attention to detail and task management skills.
- Ability to work safely in industrial and radiation environments.
- Willingness to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
