As a CNC Programmer you will be responsible for creating and generating all CNC programs for modeling or machining operations in addition to set‑up and operation of CNC machinery.
Responsibilities- Complete assigned projects by creating and editing 2D and 3D CNC programs for the fabrication of models and other components as required.
- Debug and optimize CNC programs to ensure accuracy and performance.
- Set up and run CNC machines while checking performance and making improvements as needed.
- Use CAD/CAM software (such as CAMplete, hyper
MILL, and SOLIDWORKS) to adjust designs for shrinkage and material loss during part production. - Maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions.
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Technical college degree in a related field.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a shop environment.
- Proficient in 2D and 3D CNC programming.
- Solid mathematical skills.
- Strong understanding of CNC software functions, including setup, file editing, and working with different model types.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Ability to safely lift and handle items weighing 50 pounds or more, as required by the role.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
1st
Shift: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday–Friday.
2nd
Shift: 2:00 pm – 12:30 am, Monday–Thursday (occasional mandatory Friday).
Hourly starting wage: $24.50.
