Responsibilities

In our climate‑controlled facility, Production Technicians play a vital role in setting up, operating, and continuously improving our proprietary equipment. Reporting directly to Unit Managers, Production Technicians work independently, following detailed job instructions and collaborating closely with Inspector Packers to ensure quality standards are met and customer orders are fulfilled on time.

You’ll learn from the best in the industry. The skills we will help you develop will allow you to understand the thermoforming process. You’ll then use your analytical ability to troubleshoot any machine issues as they may arise. Making use of multiple resources, you’ll precisely set up and run machines, work confidently on multiple machines at the same time, and interact and communicate with multiple groups of Inspector Packers to achieve our high‑quality standards.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong mathematics, analytical and troubleshooting skills and strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Passing mathematical and mechanical aptitude tests are required in order to be considered.
  • Attention to detail while working multiple machines/priorities concurrently, at a fast, high‑performance pace.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision to troubleshoot and solve moderate to complex problems related to manufacturing process and machinery.
  • Previous Manufacturing Experience Is Preferred. Capable of standing and being actively involved at the machine for the length of the scheduled shift.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. will occasionally be needed.
  • Well versed in the operation of general machinery.
  • Computer skills: basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Outlook). Ability to operate manufacturing management software.
  • Quality oriented. Demonstrated knowledge of SPC tools and CPK process control requirements.
  • Willingness to participate in CI (Continuous Improvement) activities.
  • Effectively communicate in verbal, written and electronic formats to co‑workers and occasionally customers/visitors. Ability to positively work as part of a team. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Demonstrated problem solving ability.
Work Hours

Four 10‑hour shifts every week. 1st Shift: 5:30am – 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday, with the frequent mandatory overtime on Fridays.

Pay

$20.56 to $25.88 per hour, depending on experience.
