Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Wage: $30.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

A premium surface solutions manufacturer in Janesville, WI is searching for an experienced self-starting maintenance mechanic who is a good match not only with experience and skills but also a great blend with our culture. A reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanic would be supporting our facility team on a Monday - Friday modified 2nd shift with normal hours a bit negotiable/flexible (3 pm - 2 am) averaging between 40-45 hours a week. The successful candidate will be capable of handling all tasks related to the upkeep, repair, and overall maintenance of our facility. Physical stamina and a willingness to work in a dusty and dirty factory environment are required for this position.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently troubleshoot control circuits, schematics and industrial processes
  • Actively promote and monitor industrial safety standards and practices
  • Develop and maintain accurate preventative maintenance schedules and records
  • Organize and properly prioritize duties

Requirements for Maintenance Technician:

  • Able to read and write English
  • Must own a set of hand tools up to 1"
  • At least three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Mechanical, electrical and PLC experience
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic and heat exchange units preferred
  • Welding capability preferred
