Entry Level Electro-Mechanical Technician

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, assemble, wire, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment from both a mechanical standpoint and also an electrical standpoint according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes that support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

• 1. Perform highly diversified duties to install, assemble, wire, and maintain new production and facility equipment.
• 2. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• 3. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• 4. Perform various skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting to install and repair production machines both manual and automated in nature.
• 5. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required installs, maintenance and service.
• 6. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• 7. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• 8. Wire and test both high and low voltage control panels.
• 9. Familiar with electric codes and OSHA standards.
• 10. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• 11. Ability to bend and install conduit.
• 12. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• 13. Regular attendance is required.
• 14. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• 15. Must be a US citizen and BATFE approved
• 15. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

This is a Salaried Non-Exempt full-time position.

Requires a high school diploma/GED and an associate's degree in a related field. Will also consider 4 years of applicable experience in lieu of degree.
