Assembly
The 1st Shift Assembler builds and assembles large product using hand and power tools. This role works from detailed blueprints and written instructions to ensure product meets strict quality standards, starting with rebuilding units that have been flagged for quality issues and progressing into full assembly work.
Responsibilities- Build and assemble using hand and power tools in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and written instructions to complete assembly without quality errors.
- Perform general labor and assembly tasks, including measuring, fitting, fastening, and securing parts and components.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, supported by specific examples of prior experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale assembly work.
- Experience in construction or similar hands-on trades.
- Prior experience working from detailed written instructions and/or technical blueprints.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Janesville, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
