Overview

Hawk's View Golf Club is a public facility located in Lake Geneva, WI with 36 holes. Como Crossings is our 18-hole championship course, and Barn Hollow is our 18-hole par-3 course. Hawk's View has been voted "Lake Geneva's Best" golf course each of the last 6 years.

The Assistant Golf Professional at Hawk's View Golf Club is responsible for ensuring quality customer service to maximize guest experience and profitability at Hawk's View.

This is a potential year-round position for the correct candidate.

Prior golf shop/outside service experience required. Bachelor's Degree and/or Level 1+ PGA Associate preferred.

• Primary responsibility is overseeing daily golf-related operations to ensure that Hawk's View guests receive quality customer service.
• Ensure that employee satisfaction is maximized by serving their needs in a patient and understanding manner.
• Junior golf leader, including PGA Junior League and the Kids Hooked on Golf Camp, as well as any other junior golf programs you would like to implement.
• Working with small group outing coordinators. This includes booking events, coordinating details, and issuing event orders for the client and staff.
• Preparation of outings via utilization of Golf Genius Tournament software, and ensuring the organization and completion of preparation is satisfactory.
• Assist in executing outings from the time the outing coordinator arrives until he/she has all of the results needed from the event.
• Ensure that the golf shop staff follows proper tee time reservation and fee collecting procedures.
• Assist with prompt and polite guest registration/fee collection, welcoming guests upon arrival, and pace-of-play enforcement.
• Provide assistance with the display and promotion of golf shop apparel, equipment, and general merchandise.
• Follow cash-handling and check-out procedures and verify that the staff is following proper procedures.
• Maximize the efficiency of labor by ensuring daily schedules meet the needs of business.
• Be included in the opening and closing manager rotation.
• Help run the indoor golf simulator during the winter months (if chosen as year-round).
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times regarding hygiene, personal appearance, and conduct.
• Abide by and enforce the regulations outlined in the Hawk's View employee handbook.
• Handle customer complaints in a polite manner that is consistent with Hawk's View's policies.
• Take the time to become informed on all club activities and services offered.
• Perform any other project or task as required by management.

• Base Salary - $4,000/month whether seasonal or year-round.
• Individual Instruction - 75% of revenues.
• PGA Junior League and PGA Camps compensation available.
• PGA dues paid.

• A $200 logoed clothing allowance will be provided for business use.
