£25,989 pa pro rata (Fixed Term Contract until 31 July 2026, requiring availability from 5 January 2026)

A unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic professional to join our Pastoral Team.

• Assist with the running and co‑ordination of our Behaviour Support and Learning Support Centre.
• Support the inclusion and development of young people, working within a collaborative environment.

• Experience of working in posts relevant to the education and inclusion of young people.
• Commitment to the support and development of young people.

• Staff well‑being is a high priority at Jarrow School; a good work/life balance is important.
• South Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
• All staff and volunteers are required to share this commitment and an Enhanced DBS disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre‑employment checks.
• Schools may carry out an online search as part of due diligence in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
