We are looking for individuals enthusiastic about providing this type of support to residents of South Tyneside.
In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you'll find every day brings something new. Working at the heart of our Alarm Receiving Centre, you'll be at the frontline responding to emergency calls from individuals in crisis, expertly liaising with our Responders and the Emergency Services to ensure the most appropriate support is dispatched swiftly and effectively.
Responsibilities- Handle vital out of hours calls relating to Council and Housing, liaising with colleagues and partners to keep the Borough running around the clock.
- Respond to emergency calls from individuals in crisis, liaising with Responders and Emergency Services.
- Install and service the latest Assistive Technology equipment prescribed by our assessment team, helping residents remain independent.
This service is 24/7, 365 days a year. The role requires an early and late shift pattern covering 7 days a week with 4 days on and 4 days off. Early shifts rotaed 07:00 – 15:00 and Late shifts rotaed 13:30 – 21:30.
Team & TrainingYou will work within a supportive and proactive team of TEC professionals with an agreed goal of providing an effective and efficient Assistive Technology service. Full onsite training will allow you to complete your role competently.
