Your training will be provided through accredited training partners on a block release basis.

As a Trainee Coating Operative, you will be responsible for aiding the Painting team in carrying out Painting duties, ensuring the company’s Painting operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner in line with our client requirements, to gain an industry recognised qualification. We have these vacancies at various locations, and you will be asked to state your preference at application stage.

• Support the team in the preparation of new or existing steel structures and assist in applying the appropriate coatings.
• Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with KAEFER HS&E policy, procedures and Safety Management System.

• The successful candidate should be able to communicate according to the situation and articulate themselves.
• You should be adaptable to change and also be resilient in character and able to deal with any challenges that may arise.
• Enthusiasm, reliability, willingness to learn and ability to work as part of a team are key.
• Proactive thinking with the ability to identify resources and solutions when faced with a challenge would be beneficial.
• Being organised and meticulous with the ability to demonstrate effective prioritisation and time-management skills would be an advantage.
