Position
:
Part-time Field Service Representative focused on insurance premium collection for at least one assigned territory (agency) of the district. The role will keep collections current, offer exceptional door-to-door customer service, and provide new sales referrals for follow up. Pay: $18.00 per hour.
- Collection of monthly premiums from policyholders in one or more assigned agencies
- Answering questions or referring customers to the proper department to resolve any issues
- Follow-up on customer inquiries or concerns to ensure completion
- Follow up on any outstanding balances to avoid policy lapses
- Use of technology to process premium payments
- Administrative responsibilities in updating and maintaining customer and payment information
- Customer service experience
- Ability to visit customers in-person at their homes
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with required 100/300 auto insurance
- Dependable vehicle as daily travel is required
- Ability to meet the requirements of a background check, motor vehicle report check and drug test
- Excellent communication skills—both in person, via telephone and in writing
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Resourcefulness in answering questions or solving any issues for the customer
- Consistent follow up on any open issues related to customers
- Takes initiative and is self-driven to succeed
