Management Trainee – Forestry Works

A producer of high‑quality southern pine lumber, Jasper Lumber Company, LLC, is seeking an entry‑level Management Trainee. The role offers hands‑on experience learning all aspects of our lumber manufacturing business. The Management Trainee reports to the Production Manager and works under its direction.

Duties will include:

• Training in all areas of the mill, learning and understanding day‑to‑day operations through hands‑on experience.
• Employee safety compliance and training in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Learn and understand all manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure employee training, standard operating processes are followed successfully.
• Employee onboarding, development, mentoring, and engagement.
• Employee performance management, evaluation, and corrective action.

• Bachelor’s degree in management‑related discipline (e.g., Engineering, Business Management, Organizational Leadership/Supervision).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented with exceptional decision‑making qualities and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
