Nurse Practitioner – Ultra Health Providers

Ultra Health Providers offers a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated nurse practitioner to provide high‑quality primary care in a skilled nursing facility setting. The role features a Monday‑Friday schedule and collaborative teamwork with healthcare professionals.

Base pay: $/yr – $/yr
Actual compensation will be based on skills, experience, and location.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for emergencies and urgent care visits.
• Establish and build strong working relationships with administrators and staff.
• Verify admission orders and conduct initial assessments of residents.
• Perform physical exams, medication reviews, and depression screening.
• Collaborate with the facility medical director, attending physicians, and nursing staff to deliver the highest level of care to residents.
• Communicate with and counsel family members on treatment options when material changes in status occur.

• Valid Nurse Practitioner License in Alabama, or the ability to obtain one.
• DEA License.
• Nurse Practitioner national certification.
• A clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties.
• Vaccination against COVID‑19 required for all new hires unless qualified for a remote, religious, or medical exemption.

• Experience in internal medicine, gerontology, or cardiology.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, and verbal skills.
• Ability to work independently, with detail orientation.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Nursing experience in long‑term care / skilled nursing facility a plus.
