Assistant General Manager – Jasper
Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team in Jasper. You will play a crucial role in operating the restaurant, overseeing staff, and contributing to our mission of excellent Mediterranean fare and meaningful customer connections.

- Review store’s P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow the GM’s direction to reach cost goals
- Master menu and product knowledge
- Serve guests and make meaningful connections with them
- Be responsible for the restaurant and team
- Set the tone for the shift and give clear, calm directions to staff
- Supervise and mentor staff, manage quality crew development, motivation, training, and evaluations
- Support or work stations when needed (kitchen included)
- Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees
- Follow proper cash handling and payment procedures
- Maintain Health Department Standards throughout each shift
- Follow proper alcohol handling policies and procedures
- Ensure proper food handling and storage of food products
- Maintain proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
- Must be 21 years of age
- Minimum of 1–3 years of management experience
- Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred
- Working knowledge of Google Suite and general computer literacy
- Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment

- Must obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:
- Morning shift – 7 am – 4 pm*
- Mid shift – 10 am – 8 pm*
- Evenings – 3 pm – 10 pm*
- Weekends – when applicable
- Holidays – when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)
* Hours will vary by store.
You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
