As a Security Officer – Access Control Monitor in Jasper, AL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and conduct routine patrols at a food and beverage production location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will interact with staff and visitors, upholding Allied Universal’s values of reliability, integrity, and teamwork.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities or security-related issues to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed and in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and the client.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors while upholding Allied Universal standards.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
