Grease Technician

The Grease Man is responsible for greasing and maintaining trucks and equipment to ensure smooth operation, while also assisting with shop tasks, minor repairs, and general upkeep. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage time effectively, work as part of a team, and be flexible with work hours and responsibilities.

• Grease trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Check and top off fluid levels as needed.
• Run parts as requested by mechanics or supervisors.
• Perform shop and yard upkeep, including cleaning, organizing, and taking out trash.
• Steam clean trucks and equipment, including engines and cooling systems.
• Replace grease fittings and hoses, and free up fittings not taking grease.
• Report any damage or issues with trucks and equipment promptly.
• Assist mechanics and PM techs with repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs as directed.
• Complete necessary paperwork, coding, and documentation accurately.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in minor mechanical work (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL license a plus, but not required.
• Hand tools a plus, but not required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments and around heavy equipment.
• Ability to stand, bend, and work on equipment for extended periods.
