Overview
Locum Anesthesiology physician position in Jasper, IN. Pay is $325/hour to $340/hour. This is a locum tenens assignment.
Start Date:
11-03-25
· Length: 13 weeks
Schedule and coverage:
Shift coverage with on-call required. Standard schedule: 07:00 – 15:00, 5 days per week.
- Provide safe and effective preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative anesthesia care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement optimal patient care plans.
- Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia based on patient and procedure needs.
- Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels to maintain patient safety and stability.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations during surgery.
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record.
- Stay current on advancements in anesthesiology through continuing education.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- ACGME or AOA-accredited anesthesiology residency.
- Board certification in anesthesiology by the ABA or AOA.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Indiana.
- Typically at least one year of clinical anesthesia experience is preferred.
- Board certification in anesthesiology (ABA or AOA).
- Active Indiana medical license.
- Prior locum or clinical anesthesia experience is preferred; exact requirements may vary by assignment.
