HR Payroll Administrator – Jasper, IN

OverviewWe are looking for a reliable and detail‑focused HR Payroll Administrator to support payroll functions and assist with day‑to‑day administrative tasks including payroll processing. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a desire to build experience in payroll and HR administration, and is comfortable handling confidential employee information.
Pay / Schedule- $22.00 per hour
- Stable schedule: 5‑day work week ~40 hours
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (consistent end time most days)
- Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll into the HRIS system
- Handle payroll queries from employees professionally and promptly
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as required
- Provide general HR and administrative support as needed
- Review and respond to daily emails
- Answer and direct telephone calls accordingly
- Perform quality work to meet deadlines with or without direct supervision
- Present orientation information and assist with onboarding new hires
- All other duties as assigned
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Payroll or Human Resources
- Associate’s degree preferred in Business Administration or Human Resources
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) and HRIS
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time‑management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
- Ability to multitask effectively and work independently
- Experience in a fast‑paced office environment
