Gas Engine - Crank Grinder Job Overview

Grinding crankshaft rod and main journals using a crankshaft grinding lathe. This is a self‑directed position requiring the person to read and understand micrometers to accurately machine the surfaces. Requires positioning crankshaft from a floor rack into the machine and into a floor rack for shipment. Knowing, understanding, and performing machine set‑up and preventive maintenance is required.

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx… 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as handheld mic’s, check for the size of the product, handheld profilometers is a tool to check surface finishes.
• Walking: occasionally
• Stooping (forward leaning): occasionally
• Reaching/Working Overhead: NONE

• Starting rate $19.00 + based on experience.
• Multiple performance reviews within your first two years, which include the ability to receive multiple wage increases
• PTO after 30 days and 10 paid holidays after 30 days
