Meyer Distributing is a complete wholesale distributor serving the automotive, RV/towing, outdoor living, marine, and more industries with 85+ locations across the country.

As part of the Jasper team, the Sales Account Manager is responsible for all inside sales functions, including inbound/outbound calls, processing sales documents, and representing the company with professional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Handles a high volume of telephone calls per day, taking orders and closing sales.
  • Sources new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow‑up and outbound cold calls.
  • Processes all calls with efficiency and accuracy, verifies orders, and enters them into the computer system.
  • Ensures accounts are serviced and maintained in accordance with company standards.
  • Recognizes customer buying patterns and promotes new product lines.
  • Regularly contacts key accounts and prospects to build and maintain relationships.
  • Investigates and resolves customer issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Meets or exceeds sales goals.
  • Stays current on product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Performs some travel as directed.
  • Completes any other assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and telephone skills.
  • Ability to communicate on the phone 90% or more of the shift.
  • Understanding of customer needs and ability to anticipate future requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and multi‑tasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Extensive use of computer; experience with Microsoft Windows preferred.
  • Excellent negotiating abilities.
  • Entry‑level salespeople with solid customer service experience encouraged to apply.
  • Prior knowledge of automotive parts a plus.
