MCR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition – Kimball International
Location: Jasper, IN (or near other Kimball International showroom locations)
High‑Level Purpose OfThe Role
Deliver market‑based training and coaching to Kimball International and dealer sales teams, equipping them with skills and tools to succeed in specific regions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in‑person training sessions at Kimball and dealer showrooms, tailoring content to regional needs.
- Partner with Senior Sales Trainer and Design Trainer to co‑create and deliver monthly product webinars.
- Deliver scenario‑based learning experiences for sales representatives.
- Welcome and engage dealer sales representatives through Dealer Portal registration.
- Adapt corporate training programs to fit local market conditions and challenges while maintaining alignment with overall sales strategy.
- Provide one‑on‑one and group coaching during training sessions and offer real‑time feedback to improve selling techniques.
- Track adoption of Salesforce, LMS (KIU), and other tools, maintaining accurate records of attendance and completion.
- Analyze training outcomes, report findings, and recommend enhancements to programs.
- Act as liaison between field teams and cross‑functional partners (Vertical Markets & Training, Product, Marketing, etc.).
- Strong understanding of sales processes, regional market dynamics, and customer engagement strategies.
- Ability to teach consultative selling and objection handling through real‑world scenarios.
- Experience delivering hands‑on, engaging in‑person training and live role‑play exercises.
- Proficient in providing real‑time feedback, identifying skill gaps, and creating tailored development plans.
- Data‑driven approach: track tool adoption, report outcomes, and recommend improvements.
- In-depth product knowledge with ability to translate technical specifications into customer value.
- Comfortable using Salesforce, LMS platforms, mobile training tools, and digital scheduling/reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of field sales or training experience (preferred).
- Certification in Sales Training, Coaching, or Adult Learning (preferred).
- Experience collaborating with sales leadership and adapting programs for local markets.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Organized, time‑management adept, and self‑directed.
- Collaborative mindset for working across functions.
