Shipping Coordinator (Administrative)

• Support all shipping activities, while ensuring accuracy of shipping documents and records
• Coordinate and monitor day-to-day activities of a team responsible for moving goods and materials from origin to destination
• Assist in the planning and completion of transport and distribution activities so that company goods and materials are transported safely and cost-effectively and that they arrive at their destination on time and in good condition
• Prepare shipping paperwork and complete all shipping transactions in the appropriate systems
• Conduct a daily review of all shipping paperwork; ensuring accuracy of daily shipping records
• Assist in investigating and resolving shipping discrepancies and errors when necessary
• Coordinate effective material storage, through the point of being loaded for shipment
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records
• Maintain regular communication with Customer Service to ensure on-time shipments and customer satisfaction; investigate and resolve customer problems and issues; notify appropriate stakeholders of potential quality issues
• Prepare shipments for finished good accessory items
• Verify receipt of incoming shipments and receive purchase orders in ERP system
• Ability to move and load finished good inventory within warehouse via two-wheeled hand truck, and lift up to 75 lbs
• Help to ensure compliance with all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Aid in the development, communication, and compliance with policies and procedures
• Ability to assist in loading product on trailers for shipment
• Perform other duties as may be assigned at managers discretion
