Warehouse Operator - 2nd Shift

Join Meyer Distributing’s team in Jasper, IN. The Warehouse Operator role ensures accurate loading, unloading, and shipping of products while operating powered industrial equipment.

• Stable 5‑day schedule – approximately 40 hours per week
• Monday–Thursday: 12:45 pm – 8:30 pm
• Rotating Friday/Saturday:
  Friday – 11:00 am – 8:30 pm OR Saturday – 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

$18.00 with opportunities for increases through performance reviews.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and engage in repetitive bending and lifting.
• Self‑contained operation of forklift/manlift (cherry picker).
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months of hire.
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level and comfortable with heights.

• Unload trucks and distribute products to the appropriate warehouse area for restocking.
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pull orders.
• Stock parts on racks in the correct location.
• Fill orders from warehouse stock, dispatch items to shipping or staging area for pickups.
• Place product on pallets, wrap in film, and band using banding equipment.
• Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory.
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized.
• Wear protective toed shoes and work safely at all times.
• Move products manually and with forklift or manlift assistance.
• Load trucks and secure product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
