Returns Inspector at Meyer Distributing (Jasper, IN)

Meyer Distributing is a wholesale distributor serving dealers nationwide with 85+ locations. This role involves inspecting returned product to determine which items can be returned to inventory or sent back to vendors.

• Inspect returned product and determine if complete order was returned for quality
• Re-package and place the quality returned items back into inventory if product is able to be resold
• Keep accurate records on RGA number and details of product’s condition
• Perform minor repairs to quality items if needed
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized
• Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner
• All other duties as assigned

• High School graduate or equivalent (preferred)
• One year of previous warehouse experience (preferred)
• Attention to detail; ability to identify letters and numbers
• Computer and data entry skills
• Problem‑solving ability
• Make timely decisions
• Adapt to changes in work environment, manage competing demands, and handle frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
• Consistently on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction
• Oral communication skills with co‑workers, supervisors and other employees

• $18.00 per hour

• Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 3:45 PM
• Friday 6:00 AM – 2:45 PM
• Saturday 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM (with notice)
