Role Description The TGT English role is a full-time, on-site position based at Green Valley English School Kerakat in Jaunpur. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum for middle and secondary classes, incorporating reading, writing, grammar, and literature. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing student performance, maintaining classroom discipline, and providing individual support where needed.

The role also involves designing assignments and tests, participating in staff meetings, communicating with parents or guardians about student progress, and contributing to school events and academic activities. The TGT English teacher is expected to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs and encourages students to use English confidently.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong English Teaching skills, including lesson planning and classroom management.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Candidates should possess Translation skills to support learners who may need assistance transitioning from local languages to English.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Training skills to handle student and parent queries professionally and guide learners effectively.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English or Education, along with a

B.Ed., are preferred.
- Experience teaching English at school level and familiarity with modern teaching methods and educational technology would be beneficial.
- Ability to maintain an inclusive, respectful classroom environment and adapt teaching strategies to different learning styles is desirable.
