The Accounting Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jayapura. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial records, including daily transaction postings, account reconciliations, and periodic financial reports. The Accounting Officer will monitor and record incoming and outgoing payments, ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, and maintain accurate documentation for audits. The role includes using accounting software to manage ledgers, supporting budgeting and cost control activities, and providing analytical insights to management.
The Accounting Officer will also collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate financial data related to shipping and logistics activities.
- Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to apply accounting principles in a logistics or shipping environment.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Hands‑on experience with Accounting Software and related digital tools for recording, tracking, and reporting financial data.
- Well‑developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial information, identify discrepancies, and support data‑driven decision‑making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and strong organizational skills in handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work on‑site in Jayapura and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Understanding of Indonesian financial regulations and tax practices is an advantage; experience in shipping or logistics is a plus.
