Maintenance Technician
Join the team driving the future of Recycling! Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Pennsylvania recycling operation.
The pay range for this position is $20–$35 per hour depending upon education and experience. The schedule is an overnight 12‑hour shift on a 2‑2‑3 schedule. You will train on a daylight schedule before transitioning into the overnight shift.
In this role you will do more than just turn a wrench; you will keep the heartbeat of our recycling facility running strong. From managing and performing maintenance & production inventories to troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial equipment and maintaining inventories, you will play a hands‑on role in ensuring that our advanced recycling machinery operates at peak performance.

Essential Responsibilities- Keep our operation running smoothly with proactive preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot and solve mechanical and electrical issues that keep production moving.
- Inspect, service, and optimize extruders, conveyors, pumps, motors, and other key equipment.
- Install new equipment, calibrate machines, and continually improve uptime and efficiency.
- Partner with operators and managers to WOW both internal and external customers.
- Lead with safety to help foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Perform miscellaneous job duties as required.
- At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (extrusion, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems a plus).
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work orders.
- Hands‑on skills with power and hand tools, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
- Knowledge of PLCs, Lean manufacturing, and 5S principles.
- A strong team mindset and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or GED (trade school, associate’s degree, or welding/fabrication skills preferred).
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.

. - Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre‑employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
- Maintain consistent and timely attendance.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
- Skills in welding and metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems.
- Knowledge of industrial automation or robotics.
- Background in mechanical repair, machine installation, or process improvement.
- Safety‑First Culture:
Hearing protection and other PPE are required. Safety isn’t optional; it’s the foundation of everything we do. All required PPE is provided by Triumvirate. - Manufacturing Setting:
You’ll work in a large, 100,000‑plus‑square‑foot recycling facility that is always active with production, equipment movement, and inbound deliveries. - Dynamic
Conditions:
Seasonal temperature changes, radio communication with operators and managers, and constant coordination across teams keep things moving quickly. - Team‑Oriented Atmosphere:
You will be part of a 100‑plus‑employee operation where collaboration, communication, and accountability are essential. - On Your Feet:
Expect to be moving across large areas of the plant where the surface is concrete, responding to maintenance needs, and staying hands‑on with equipment. - Potential limited Travel:
