Accountant, Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant

The General Ledger (GL) Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Club's financial records by ensuring all accounting transactions are accurately recorded in the General Ledger. The role supports the month-end and year-end closing process, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance with Club policies & IFRS.

• Record and maintain all General Ledger transactions accurately and timely.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Perform monthly closing activities and ensure deadlines are met.
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash-related GL accounts.
• Reconcile intercompany and related-party transactions.
• Support preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements.
• Assist in annual external audit and internal audit requirements.
• Maintain fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
• Support budgeting and forecasting by providing GL information.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, ZATCA requirements, and Club financial policies.
• Assist with Oracle ERP transaction validation and data integrity.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Procurement, and other departments to resolve accounting issues.
• Maintain supporting documentation for all accounting transactions.
• Participate in continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Perform other finance duties assigned by management.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance.

Minimum of 3-5 Years GL Accountant.

• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
