Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

Job Objective

To record financial transactions prepare financial reports and monitor revenues expenses and project costs to ensure accuracy and integrity of the company s financial operations while adhering to financial policies and regulations

• Record all daily accounting entries based on supporting documents
• Prepare client invoices and follow up on collections
• Review supplier invoices before payment
• Prepare payment and receipt vouchers according to approvals
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable and prepare reports
• Track advances and petty cash settlements
• Prepare monthly financial reports for management
• Handle project and contract accounting
• engineering firms
• Record project revenues and costs and track budgets
• Assist in preparing annual financial statements and closing
• Prepare Zakat and tax returns if assigned
• Reconcile account balances and resolve discrepancies
• Comply with financial policies and internal controls
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data
• Organize and archive financial records
• Cooperate with internal and external auditors
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the direct manager

Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance

3 6 years of experience (or as per company requirements)

• Knowledge of accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting systems and software
• Financial analysis and reporting skills
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
