Financial Reporting Function, ensuring effective financial controls in the business, readiness of Internal and external audit, Dealing with Bankers and Auditors

• Effective communication and follow up with finance linked departments including HR, Supply chain, Operations etc. to ensure sufficient and appropriate evidence are available for internal audit.
• Support to identify control gaps / weaknesses and develop mitigation strategy and ensure implementation of the same.
• Perform multisite regular visit to ensurecompliances with policy& procedures.
• Liaison with Internal audit team for the information required.
• Any other assigned tasks.
• Monthly filing of VAT returnin compliance with VAT laws.
• Monthly filingof WHT return in compliance with WHT laws.
• Review / check record maintenance & archiving of AP / AR vouchers& filing.
• Review / perform regular checks on key finance areaslike Capex, AP, AR.
• Maintain different schedules / detailsof financial statements area for Management Pack and external audit readiness.
• Develop a monthly reporting package for all financial statement areas.
• Develop a monthly Balance sheet pack for Management and Shareholders review.
• Support in liaison with external parties including bankers, legal advisors.
• Support in compliance with legal requirements e.g. Zakat / VAT/ TP / Company law.
• Support in company secretarial practices.
• Support to ensure proper books of accounts are available for auditing purposes.
• Liaison with external auditors and management for preparation of statutory accounts and information required for completion of audit.
• Support in organizing quarterly inventory stock counts.
• Responsible for bookkeeping and audit of foreign entity (BMEH2).
• Any other task assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance
• Years of Experience : 5 – 7 years in the related experience
• SOCPA registered and studying for a relevant accounting qualification
• High level of accuracy with numbers and calculations
