Automotive Technician

Job Purpose

The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and company procedures, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brakes, tires, and inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and systems in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and vehicle performance.
• Ensure all work orders and repair details are accurately documented.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors to explain technical findings and recommended repairs.
• Participate in technical training and stay updated on new vehicle technologies.
• Comply with company policies, quality standards, and workshop procedures.

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician (cars, buses, or trucks).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technical diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• Willingness to work in a workshop environment and flexible shifts.
