Job Description: 1. Regulatory Leadership & Market Enablement

• Define and deploy regulatory strategy aligned to business priorities
• Lead and develop high-performing regulatory teams
• Act as senior advisor across functions
• Ensure consistent regulatory frameworks

• Translate and elevate regulatory requirements and intelligence into clear, practical, strategic business‑ready recommendations.
• Design and implement a structured compliance reporting framework (KPIs, dashboards, risk metrics)
• Establish governance, escalation, and visibility of risks
• Drive standardisation of tools and processes
• Lead compliance reviews and reporting
• Embed accountability and transparency culture

• Lead representation in trade associations and regulatory forums
• Build strong external networks
• Drive industry positions and advocacy strategies
• Influence regulatory developments

• Ensure alignment across global and regional teams
• Embed regulatory input early in innovation
• Enable compliant market entry
• Balance regulatory risk with commercial objectives

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related scientific discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience within regulatory affairs for food, confectionery, FMCG, or related sectors, preferably with a multinational food manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of GCC and Egypt food regulations, Codex principles, claims regulations, ingredient standards, and policy processes.
• Proven leadership in compliance systems and reporting
• Strong external influencing experience.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and analytical capability.
