Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP Construction)
A leading engineering and construction contractor specializing in large-scale MEP projects is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will initially be based in Jeddah and may be assigned to future projects across the Kingdom as business requirements evolve.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering complex building and infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects.
- Prepare, review, and administer subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Evaluate and process subcontractor valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Prepare client payment applications and support commercial negotiations.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Prepare commercial reports and provide cost advice to project management teams.
- Support claims preparation, variation submissions, and dispute resolution where required.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, planning, and finance teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, and commercial management.
- Experience working on MEP projects is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding project environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to relocate between project locations within Saudi Arabia as required.
- Project-based role within a dynamic construction environment.
- Standard six-day work week in line with regional construction industry practices.
- Extended working hours may occasionally be required to meet project demands and delivery schedules.
