Site Supervisor

The Site Supervisor will manage day‑to‑day activities on solar project sites, ensuring construction works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

The role includes close coordination with project engineers, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

• Site Management and Supervision:
  • Supervise installation teams and subcontractors on site
  • Ensure work follows drawings, specifications, and safety procedures
  • Monitor daily progress and maintain construction schedules
  • Organize and lead daily toolbox talks and coordination meetings
• Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
  • Enforce site safety rules and PPE requirements
  • Identify and report hazards, implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with company and client HSE policies
• Quality Control:
  • Inspect workmanship and materials delivered to site
  • Ensure installation quality meets standards and manufacturer requirements
  • Report and rectify non‑conformances
• Coordination and Communication:
  • Liaise with project engineers and project managers
  • Coordinate site logistics, manpower, and material delivery
  • Act as primary point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers
• Testing, Commissioning, and Handover Support:
  • Assist with testing, commissioning, and handover activities
• Documentation:
  • Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports
  • Maintain site records, checklists, and as‑built updates
  • Track material usage and inventory on site
• Collaboration:
  • Work effectively with team members and support company goals, even when tasks are not strictly related to day‑to‑day responsibilities

Potential candidates should have:

• Diploma in Electrical or a related technical field
• 4–8 years of experience in construction or site supervision (preferably solar PV)
• Strong knowledge of on‑site safety practices and construction procedures
• Ability to read drawings and interpret technical documents
• Good command of English and Arabic for communication with teams, clients, and subcontractors
• Confidence taking responsibility and working independently on active project sites
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality standards
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required

Additional attributes that would be an advantage:

• Experience in installation of rooftop or ground‑mounted PV systems
• Knowledge of electrical installation practices and standards
• Previous experience supervising subcontractors
• Familiarity with testing and commissioning of PV systems
• Experience preparing site reports and documentation
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or basic solar design/simulation software
