Onsite Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer or Architect to provide full-time on-site supervision for our construction project. You will be our eyes on the ground — ensuring contractors execute the work in strict accordance with the approved drawings and specifications, and producing shop drawings where required.

• Monitor day-to-day construction activities and verify all work conforms to the architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable codes
• Review contractors’ work quality, dimensions, materials, and installation methods; flag and document any deviations immediately
• Develop, review, and issue shop drawings and construction details as needed to resolve site conditions or clarify design intent
• Coordinate between the design team, contractors, and project management; respond to RFIs
• Attend site meetings, prepare daily/weekly progress reports with photos
• Inspect and approve work stages before they are covered up (e.g., reinforcement, MEP rough-ins, waterproofing)
• Maintain records of site instructions, variations, and as-built changes

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• 3–7 years of experience in on-site construction supervision
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit a plus) for producing shop drawings
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards
• Detail-oriented, assertive, and able to hold contractors accountable
