Senior Fashion Designer

Our client, a leading womenswear brand in KSA is seeking a Senior Fashion Designer to join their team. The Senior Fashion Designer leads the creative design process, developing innovative concepts and collections that align with the brand's vision. This role requires a deep understanding of fashion trends, garment construction, and market needs, as well as strong leadership and collaboration skills.

• Collection Development:
  Conceptualize and create seasonal collections, from initial sketches to final designs.
• Trend Research:
  Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and consumer preferences.
• Technical Expertise:
  Oversee garment construction, ensuring designs are practical and manufacturable.
• Team Leadership:
  Mentor and guide junior designers and design assistants, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Fabric and Trim Selection:
  Source and select appropriate materials that enhance design concepts.
• Fitting Sessions:
  Lead fitting sessions, providing critical feedback on fit, proportion, and construction.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with marketing, production, and merchandising teams to ensure alignment on brand strategy.
• Budget Management:
  Manage the design budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
• Presentation and Communication:
  Present designs and concepts to stakeholders, articulating the vision and rationale behind choices.
• Trend Forecasting:
  Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations, integrating them into future designs.

• Bachelor's degree in fashion design, textile or related fields.
• 5-10 years of experience in the fashion industry. (apparel, lingerie, accessories etc)
• Strong design and sketching abilities.
• Market knowledge and a deep understanding of the fashion retail landscape and customer demographics.
