Wedding Planner Assistant

As a wedding planner assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the wedding planner in planning and organizing weddings for clients in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Your main role will be to support the wedding planner in all aspects of wedding planning, ensuring that each event is executed flawlessly and meets the expectations of clients.

• Assist the wedding planner in conducting initial consultations with clients to understand their vision and requirements for their special day.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure necessary services such as venue, catering, decorations, etc.
• Help create detailed event timelines and schedules for each wedding.
• Attend site visits with clients to determine layout and design of event spaces.
• Coordinate logistics for the event including transportation, accommodation, and guest seating arrangements.
• Assist with managing budget and keeping track of expenses.
• Be present on the day of the wedding to oversee setup, manage vendors, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Handle any unexpected issues or last-minute changes that may occur during the planning process or on the day of the event.

• Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic are required.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of current trends and traditions in Saudi Arabian weddings is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.

This is a part-time position suitable for students who are looking to gain experience in event planning. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a professional wedding planner, learn new skills, and build your portfolio while earning extra income.

English proficiency is required for this position as you will be assisting local clients.
