Architect ​/ Project Manager - Mandarin native speaker

Archibat HR is seeking a Native mandarin speaking Architect / Project Manager for a globally celebrated architectural practice with a distinguished portfolio of large-scale cultural, sports, and mixed-use projects across Europe and Asia. Known for design excellence and contextual sensitivity, the firm is now scaling into the Middle East and establishing a permanent on-ground presence in Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking a Senior Architect to act as their Client Manager and Technical Lead in the Kingdom. This is a hybrid leadership role- part strategic client partner, part hands-on technical authority. You will be the firm's face in Saudi Arabia, bridging our European/Chinese design studios with local stakeholders, ensuring design integrity is preserved from concept through construction, and building trust that secures long-term partnerships.

• Client Leadership:
  Serve as the primary client interface - leading presentations, design reviews, and progress meetings; translating complex design ideas into clear business narratives; proactively managing expectations and navigating cultural/commercial nuances with Saudi partners and government entities.
• Technical Oversight:
  Ensure award-winning design intent is faithfully executed on-site - coordinating multidisciplinary teams (local and overseas), reviewing shop drawings and material specifications, resolving construction-phase technical challenges, and ensuring full compliance with Saudi codes.
• Project Coordination:
  Bridge time-zone, language, and documentation gaps between the China/Europe studios and the Saudi project team - managing deliverable schedules, RFIs, submittal logs, and change orders to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Strategic Representation:
  Act as the firm's on-ground ambassador - monitoring market intelligence, identifying new opportunities, and supporting business development through technical proposals and pitch presentations.

• Registration: PRC Registered Architect (preferred) or equivalent international accreditation.
• Experience:
  
  5-10 years post-registration, working on large-scale projects in both China and international markets.
• Language:
  Native Mandarin Chinese + fluent professional English.

  Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and PowerPoint; strong visual presentation ability.
